When the trailers a rockin

Woke up this morning to the earthquake from Oklahoma even though it's a few hundred miles from here. I thought it was supposed to be more fun when the trailer was rocking. Levelup and our extra rear stabilizers didn't help. I imagine it would have been no big deal for our California members, but for us that much rocking and we look at the radar to see if we need to run to the storm shelter

We were in our stick house. 5.6 on the scale. Luckily no damage as of yet. What a ride!

Where we are now, on pavement and a couple hundred yards from a Union Pacific train yard, and the trailer moves whenever a heavy freight train runs through the yard. Haven't experienced a quake yet, but that would be exciting I'm sure.

Didn't feel it in Colorado, but we had one hit on our Alaska trip in 2014. Knocked out phone and Internet.

Dick, I read where those quakes are very different the Ca quakes. Softer ground makes for pretty scary motion. In fact it was raised to higher magnitude then first announced. Therefore I will support you receiving your " Earth Quake RV Badge" !
