Perhaps I am different than others on the forum. I often ask questions or reply to people asking questions. When I ask a question, I usually try to reply so that the people know I read their feedback even if I didn't do what they suggested. I see a lot of people lately that post and then that is the last you hear from them. We all learn from solutions to problems or why someone chose to purchase one thing versus another. Just venting. Perhaps no one else has noticed the same thing.

Have to admit I was absent from looking at the Forum for quite awhile. We have been stuck at home, husband dealing with lots of back issues and surgeries. However, there is a core group of folks that I enjoy your posts. You all have unique solutions and we have truly appreciated the insights you have provided. We are anxiously waiting to get back in the road. Trying to finish the maintenance and little improvements to "Priscilla". The truck is Elvis...so you get the drill. Now if I can only get our pictures to work on the signature line on thie forum....we will be more active with positive input and solutions. Thanks for speaking your mind.

I would like the forum to get back to what it once was. Not only a social group but a place were we shared our problems large and small and our solutions to the problems. That sure got me on the right track back in 2005.

When I post, I go by how many people read it, shows me that someone had interest in my topic.

Jts140, I agree, if I post I can see how many people read it. My concern is those that post, for example, how has your experience been with xyz? And ten people give input and the original poster never posts again on that topic. Was the input valuable, did we answer their question, do they have new questions, was the solution found? Life is busy, I understand. And sometimes people forget. But it appears to be a growing trend.

I deal with people all over the United States and dozens of countries. Some places the people just don't say thank you. The most polite people that I deal with are from the mountains of Georgia and South Carolina. They will say thank you.
Any time any body on this form or anywhere helps or tries to help me I make it a point to say thank you.

As I am fairly new on this forum compared to a lot of others I will say I appreciate the information that I get from members willing to share their knowledge. I myself don't reply to every answer but I do try to reply after a bit so members will see that I have read their posts. It is nice when people post their names so you can have more of a direct or personnel interface with other members. A lot of members on here do not put their name on their posts which makes it harder to actually thank them for their information. It seems most people are really trying to share their experiences with the rest of us. I hope with all my questions that people realize that both my wife and I actually really like my 3160 RL LE and just want it to be perfect. We have had some issues but I also have made it a point to say how we think we have made a great choice. I hope that people continue to share their knowledge and also their issues and how they were resolved.

Ron, unfortunately, this type of behavior runs on every forum. I mod two other forums (non-RV related) and we have the same type of posts. Someone comes, makes a post and that's the last you hear from them, or if they do come back, they don't respond to their original post, it's to post a new problem. Short of sending them a PM or email asking them to respond, there's nothing you can do, and even then, there's a good chance you won't hear back from them.

Damworker, if you do a cut and paste of the info string on tiny pic where it says for posting on forums, your pic should show up here. So on tiny pic you would highlight the whole string that starts with a bracket and the word abreviation of image and ends with same...then do a control x on the keyboard to cut the image. Now switch over to your post and below your text, do a control v to paste that tiny pic string onto the forum. It looks like you didn't cut the whole string so the result is no picture showing up. Hope this helps you. John

Totally agree, you hit the nail on the head! I don't post that often, but check the board daily to see what topics are posted or replied because you never know when it might pertain to you. Lastly, while only meeting a few members of this forum in person, it is very people oriented and I feel I know a lot more folks from just reading the forum daily.

I think you will find the cortisone will work wonders for you. I have suffered from pain in my shoulders for 45 years that an MD told me was arthritis many years ago. I went to an orthopedic surgeon a month ago to see if he could do anything about it. His x-ray didn’t show arthritis or anything else so he did the cortisone injection and it worked well. Now if it last for years like the one he did for my knee I will be pain free for the next couple of years.

I wish you have as good results as I have had.

You are 100% correct Phil. The pain is nearly gone. I just need to lose some weight which I am doing. This is as good as I have felt in 3 years.The Bursitis took me by surprised as I had never considered that and had forgotten it existed.

Ron I have been on a jetboat forum for quite a few years. Lots of questions posted and lots of answers and experience shared. As forums and email in general are not personnel and face to face you will find a lot of people react different to the same post or email. Actual conversation is so much more personnel and easier to actually communicant and understand. Lots of augments and hurt feelings because people all have a different idea of what a post or email is actually saying. Lots of people post once or twice and then are gone. Some of them just want an answer to a specific question and others want to contribute to the forum and actually be a part of it. All you can do is to continue to try and help each and everyone that posts on the MOC forum and still realize that not everyone will belong to the group. What is really bad is when you get the trolls that are just posting to stir up problems and never contributed to the good of the group.

I'm one of those folks that really enjoy reading and learning from the forum. Unfortunately we haven't had a chance to use our new to us 5th wheel (bought late September). only really used one week over Christmas holidays, so haven't had a lot to contribute based on experience of the 5th wheel. Getting ready to use in July for around 3 weeks so really looking forward to this summer. it will be the first 3 week outing (due to retiring...yeah...). Sorry, I'm rambling
