First Montana trip tomorrow!

Off we go to the Northwest Elks Rally in our Mountaneer's first trip- with us! We are VERY excited and a I am a little nervous. Our last trailer was only 22 feet long. Of course, DH is confident- thank goodness!

We are crossing our fingers everything works, no major glitches, and we didn't forget anything we can't live without! Now, what is it we are supposed to do when we see Montana's? Flash our lights?

I usually try and flash the lights and I believe the standard is to flash them twice. Enjoy your maiden voyage and have a great time! You will find a lot of friends from the forum as well.

We know the feeling- we went from 26' to 35'. I was nervous on the first trip out - DH not so much. Have a wonderful trip - where is the Elks Rally?

Everything is going great so far! We christened the new rig by drinking Mimosa's and having a toast with our Elks Lodge folks, and are having a great time! We are in Lacey, WA. There are a few Monty's here, but I haven't talked to the owners to know if they are members of this group.

Cathie- Glad I am not the only one that gets nervous. The trip was fine, it is just those narrow lanes where they are doing construction and I say, "Honey, you are right on the line on this side" and he says, "Honey, I am right on the line on this side too!" Then a semi truck comes along side and passes- I feel my heart in my throat about then..... but otherwise, it was a great trip up here!

I am so glad you are having a good time. Not sure I will ever get over the nervous feeling 100% when we are tight spots. Just enjoy!
