What's happened to What used to be?

Maybe just a little venting, but its been said that it cost less to produce Diesel than Gasoline, or it used to be. Until just a few years ago, this was the way it was. Then the price of diesel started creeping up, about the same price as gasoline. As the price of diesel started to exceed gasoline, the truckers started to complain. Then along came fuel sir charges and the trucking companies and drivers got some relief, and the consumers help pay the Oil Companies. Now the price of diesel (and gasoline) just keeps going up and the oil companies brag, on front page news, billion dollar quarter profits. Now a lot of RVers have deisel trucks, but we can't charge anyone for excess fuel charges. Doesn't seem quite fair.... But life goes on, and so does RVing, or does it? Rving and camping are a large industry, probably bigger than most people realize.
