2008 Big Sky
Has anyone else noticed that the new Big Sky floor plans (365REQ and 315RLT) are claiming to have the 12'9" standard height? The 340RLQ, 350RLQ, and the 360REQ still have the 12'6" height. I sure hope this is a sign that the Big Sky is going back to the original "Montana" height. The extra height in the bedroom on the 340, 350, and 360 would sure be nice for those of us over 6' tall.

Perhaps someone as tall as you can check that out at the Tampa RV show in a couple of weeks.

Dave, the height of the bedroom was the major reason we were disappointed with the Big Sky. An it max weight was within 800 lbs of the Cambridge? I'm 6'2" and couldn't stand up in the front bedroom. Well I'm sure Keystone seen the mistake and will or has corrected it. I always help my DW make the bed and it was a disavantage for us. We are still looking for some improvements in the Big Sky in other areas. Guess the Cambridge spoiled of big time. GBY....

Interesting...I thought I was noticing the ceiling in the bedroom was a little lower than it was in our 3475RL. Tom is 6'2" and I had been noticing his head nearly touched the ceiling in the bedroom of our new Big Sky 340RLQ. He just went up to check it out. He clears the ceiling back to about mid bed or where the second AC would be installed (we did not order the second AC). At this point the ceiling drops about an inch requiring him to bend a little. Fortunately I sleep on the side of the bed next to the closet so has not been a problem so far, but good to be aware of it. Glad I was not imagining things were lower.
Have also noticed the cabinet shelves are narrower. Only the cabinet between the living area and kitchen with the curio on the end is wide enough to set a dinner plate on the shelf.
Must say we are really loving our new Big Sky though, in spite of a few things we would like to see changed.

We immediately noticed the lower ceiling in the Big Sky and realized that we wouldn't be comfortable with not being able to stand up in the bedroom. As it turns out, we're now looking at a small motorhome anyway since our home situation has changed and because we have our new wheelchair bound traveling companion. We need to tow our wheelchair van.
