One sweet Ford truck

Thanks to all of your input on the new Super Duty's, Sue and I looked around and found our truck at a dealer, did not have to order it.
This one came with up fitter switches, 4 toggle switches wired into relays that I might wire up to something....
I went with a 4 door; Crew cab, love that feature, of course I have the seats down, and it's full of tools and wiring supplies.
Can't get over the power mirrors, power fold and power extend and retract. I kind of miss my old noisy engine on the '06, but now at the clown order station, I don't have to turn off the engine to order a Burgler.
Decided to forgo the Lemon Law suit, taking too long, and I wanted a new tow monster for the Winter trek to South Texas, I'm from the 'Daddy, Mommy, I WANT IT NOW!' generation, I guess.
Love the truck, anyone thinking of trading, and are now teetering on the edge.....go for it! Smells good....

Wow...( I'm jealous) great looking truck. I would love to upgrade to this new design but my 06 is running great and I only have 22,000 miles on it so it will be a few years before I move up to a new one. I've been following the new 6.4 owners on the web and all seem real happy with the truck and its performance. MPG gets better after getting some miles on it and reportedly its handling characteristics is outstanding. Good luck and congratulations!

I got the Lariat 4X4 The interiar is really pretty, a light color.

Steves, with your King Ranch, I bet it is beautiful.

Congratulations Ozz and Sue. That is one beautiful truck. John (Hemlockusa) and myself really enjoyed seeing it in person yesterday. You are right they have really made that engine quite.
It is one bad truck and we hope you and Sue have many enjoyable miles pulling that Montana with it.

Enjoy that new towmotor Ozz! Can't wait to hear what you do with the switches.

I'm in the same position as Steves - love the ride but I only have 18K on my 06. I'm also from the "WANT IT NOW" generation - but momma says to wait! (I think that's because she was also looking at the new Expedition with a 6-sp automatic! and her car is older)

You guys are not making it any easier on me to NOT buy a new truck. We are attempting to hold out till we can pay for it instead of going in debt.

At my age and expected income level in the years to come, this may be the last one we get, as a younger man, you don't think of the future as limited. The realities of retirement can be a little hard to fathom, for us to come to terms with.

If you are off to Texas, one suggestion, get the front side windows tinted to match the back. They make a big difference, and do now in this weather we currently have.

Looking good Ozz,

You'll have to update your signature now. Last one we bought was a 4 door... really like it better than the supercab. Much easier for the old mutt (our dog) not me , to get in & out.

Congratulations Ozz. We sure like ours. I too like the new interior and the mirrors. So far the engine is doing great and it is certainly quieter. While I'm not currently bad towing fuel mileage (11 MPG), I hope for some improvement as I get some more miles. I think you will like it a lot.
