Dentists in Mexico

I seem to remember a post awhile back about dentists south of the border in Mexico.
I've tried searches but to avail.
What town is it in and what American town is it close to.

Thanks
Ray

Algodones, MX is near Yuma, AZ. From Yuma you travel I-8 West into Calif. and turn South to head to Algodones. Not far from Yuma. You can park on the US side and walk in. Some drive in.
Algodones has tons of dentists.

Can anyone recommend one of the hundred or so dentists in Algodones? I plan to have some work done later this year and would appreciate a recommendation as it's kind of a turkey shoot at the moment.

Thanks for the names folks. I assume that you were happy with the work; the price and the other dentist related stuff!

We also use the same dentist as Helmick- Have used his services for 12 years- He has done an extraction and a filling and 2 crowns so far for me plus installed both an upper and lower partial- He replaced a U.S dentist's defective filling and installed 3 crowns for my wife- Going to stop and visit with him again this winter as we do every year whether we need work or not- He's very reasonable in costs compared to U.S dentists- He's also a nice guy with good English - JMHO- Don

We used Mexico dentists and found them to be skillful and reasonable. But since we don't travel close to the border anymore, we get our annual dental checkups at MidAmerica Dental & Hearing Clinic on I-44 by Mount Vernon, MO. Not only are they reasonable in price (comparable to Mexico) but they have a large full-hookup RV park with 50-amp power where you can stay while having the work done. This year we were there for 17 days at no cost to us while they prepared three crowns on-site. The work they do is well worth using their services. Not only do they do dental work but they also do hearing aid work right there. Check them out. We really like the free parking!

Orv

On edit: I forgot to mention that they also have Wi-Fi in the park.

We've also used Dr. Rubio's office and found them to be very professional and competent.

It's always reassuring to get recommendations from fellow MOCer's. Thank you ... I'll use one or both of the two dentists mentioned above!
