Help No Power

Just pulled into a Walmart for the night and I have no power to the trailer. My jacks worked and I seemed to have battery but when I go inside and hit any button..nothing happens. Is there a main fuse beside the 40amp one..(Ichecked that). I am sitting on the sidewalk waiting for my wife to return...she will not be a happy camper...

What should I look for..thanks

Did you check the battery shut off switch? Jacks and slides are powered upstream of the switch.

Good luck.

I hope the switch only did that because it was not engaged correctly. Switches really shouldn't be changing position from what they're set to from rough driving.

Otherwise it was good to read that it was that simple. Ya gotta keep DW happy!

Greg,
Let us know which road(s) you were traveling that caused the battery switch to change position. I certainly don't want to travel on it! Dennis

Dennis/Michael...the bad roads were picked up through Chicago 94 & 294 toll roads. We stopped at a Walmart in Erin just past Chicago. Another problem happened were my battery went dead over night. I was happy to be on the Walmart parking lot and picked up a new one.

One of our final destinations was Fort McMurry, Alberta. Once hooked up we had a water leak and had to get behind the convience centre to tighten up all connections. (Which also were likely shaken up).

Roads through Minnisota and North Dakota were okay (94)

Illinois has been broke for a number of years now and their highways show it.
