The city has a great campground next to the river downtown, there is some construction going on so call first.

I have not stayed at the one jerryb is referring to but have driven through and it looks very nice. Branson City Campground. I have stayed at Americas Best Campground and when we were there it was super nice. Very clean and well maintained. Also The Wilderness Campground which is owned by Silver Dollar City is highly rated with lots of trees. I haven't stayed here either but have driven through and it looks very nice as well. Good Luck and Enjoy Branson. We spend about 75 days a year camping there.

We stayed in the City Campground a couple of years ago and it was very nice. Very clean and well kept. You can also walk along the river there and walk into town to visit the shops and things. We really enjoyed it a lot and would stay there again with no worries.

Overall, we were in Branson in April and we stayed at the Stagecoach RV park. It was great. It is close to the dam and fishing. It is a short drive to Branson, 4-5 miles each way. It is also a Passport America campground, 1/2 price. We really enjoyed it.
