I agree that he should have been reported to animal services. This brought tears to my eyes. thanks for not telling him about MOC. I like our family just fine without bullies!

There are three types of people I absolutly do not nor will not tolerate, Spouse abusers, child abusers, and animal abusers. 90% of the time I've found them to be one and the same. You did well to walk away and not pummel him. People like that aren't needed here. The sad part is the dog is the only one who suffers and looses in this deal.

Having lost my Lab last year, I probably would have snapped. You did the right thing. Next spring when my new Lab puppy comes, feel free to come over and pet him/her. He/She will be the yellow/black/chocolate Lab puppy. (I have pick of litter and will be getting the best dog available - regardless of color or sex. More interested in a healthy, happy puppy.) No place in the MOC for a person like that.
