Had and interesting conversation with the man who was fixing a tractor tire for me. He said he heard onthe radio that the new Ford engine was now dead and they were gonna use a Cummins since Chrysler is bankrupt. He also said that the Cummins and Dodge relationship was done. It gets better, also that GM was gonna use a Cummins. The rummer mill is really flying now is in it. guess time will tell all.

I would like to see that.It would guarantee a new truck. But Ford has a plant in Mexico pumping out the new engine?? Interesting.

All I can say is, if you don't hear a rumor before ten in the morning, start one.

Cummins in a Ford? I'm with Rich on this one. I would be in line waiting for one to roll of the transport truck.

My 7.3L Ford F250 would not look nearly as good anymore with a Cummins Ford available.

The Indianapolis plant of international has closed. That is where the 6.4 engine for ford was made. The agreement on the lawsuit between Ford and International was that the 6.4 would be supplied until 31 dec 2009.It would be my guess that that is when the new engine would start. jim

RickW, I have viewed that site before. If I had an engine failure, It would happen. But so far the 6.0 has not been like the rest others have been having trouble with.
