Daylight Savings Time

Don't forget, The [s]9th[/s] 8th of March we "Spring Ahead."

Set your alarm for 2 a.m. so that you can change your time.

You could be late, or you could be early, depending on your perspective at that hour of the morning. Sort of like Half full, or half empty.

Cheers!

Doesn't matter to us. We are in Arizona and the last thing they need is another hour of scorching daylight. Good thing is when we head back to Missouri the first of April we won't lose an hour.

It's going to be pitch black at 7AM, just barely getting light now at 6AM. Sunrise for this part of Texas will be 7:42 Sunday morning. Wish they would leave it one way or the other.

Wayne,

We are home for the weekend. I think I will set my alarm at 11PM when I go to bed rather than the 2AM time I remember in the younger days when I thought it was neat to have an extra hour at the bar when the time changed. Who can stay up that anymore? Now remember I didn't post who will wake up at 2AM and toss and turn. I was trying to talk Bob into going to church on Saturday. He told me he doesn't go on Saturday.....guess we will be a mass on Sunday at 8:30. Then breakfast at Flores Mexican food and then out to by Bunko gifts for Monday. We will be headed home on Tuesday.

I love DST. gives me more time in the late afternoon when it is "cooler" (yeah! Right! In Texas??) to do those nothing things I started at noon and sometimes I start them twice.

We are home, but don't know for how long.

For those lucky enough to be 'retired', now you will have an extra hour to do nothing in; of course the DW (or DH as the case may be) will wonder why, with the extra daylight, you still can't get it done. In my case, not retired yet, but CRS impacts real heavy at 5 or 6 in the evening it seems...

If I'm not mistaken Arizona doesn't change to DST.
