Furnace Issue This Morning

For some reason my furnace decided not to work, it’s been working flawlessly. I run it at night being it’s down in the 20s here in NW AR and it’s been kicking on and off and was doing so early this morning. Now all of a sudden it won’t turn on at all. No e Code on the t-state and the heat pump is working.

Yesterday when I changed a tank I noticed my main regulator indicator would not change back to green and I’ve notice it was doing this for the last few weeks. Could the regulator finial bit the bullet, I did turn the stove on for a second and gas came out the burner.

I’ll look at the fuses when I get home from work.

Furnace and gas water heater require high volume gas, cooktop and oven do not. See if your gas water heater is working.
Try switching the valve to the other (preferably full) tank. OR, put your full tank on the other side, then flip the valve over to point to that side.
Don't forget there are a couple of furnace troubleshooting manuals in the files section at the top of the webpage.

bounce your propane tank on a hard surface. The overfill valve maybe stuck.

Thanks guys, both tanks are full and it worked up until around 4 am this morning, I will mess with it and see what happens.

Thanks

Got home from work, banged on the regulator, took the tanks out and dropped them on the bottoms a couple of time and all is well again.

I had bought a new 30lb tank and had it filled and they put 7.2 gallons in it, I have a feeling this is what cause my issue and set that overflow valve closed. My regulator is still stuck in the red so I’m just going to order a new one.

Thanks for the advice
