Vicki,
It started out at 6:00 am with a public-assist call with a follow-up 3 hours later to the same address for a transport to the hospital in Carson City (fortunately, it appears it was not too serious).
Then it snowed and now it's raining.
It has been a glorious day!!
The wood stove's been going all day, the house is snug and warm, Sharon fixed a wonderful dinner, the puppies are all in, and the price of diesel dropped another 10 cents this morning. I couldn't ask for anything more (except, maybe, to find the air leak in Big Red).
Thank you for your thought, and I hope the day has been as good for you and Steve.
Bob

Happy Birthday Bob!
I watch for these things and still miss most of them! :-(
You've had a busy day. I listened to the Noontime Net and the guys up in your part of the world said it was either snowing or raining. Glad you got a great dinner. And you can use those puppies to help you stay warm!
I thought you'd fixed that air leak. Sorry to hear it's not fixed. But good to hear the diesel is still coming down.
Are you folks going to Quartzsite this year?
Again Happy Birthday.

Thank you, Dennis and Sue, for the birthday greetings.
Sue, you slipped in while I was composing my reply to Vicki. Say hello to Ed for us.
Dennis, even the early morning call was a positive part of the day. I think the leak is in the air dryer, but it will have to be dryer here before I go under the truck to check. As long as it's a slow leak, I'm not too concerned; air systems always seem to have a leak somewhere.
The temp is now (9:30 pm) 46 deg F and the winds are east at 10 mph, so it could be a warm night. We're due for another storm about Thursday, and it could be just as warm. I'm glad I don't own a ski resort and am not a ski fanatic. Darn, the winds have done an about face and shifted to west at 10 mph. Weather here is always interesting.
Bob
