Don't forget those Door and Raffle Prizes - Montana Owners Club

OK Troops, it's time to hit up that RV Dealer, Camping World or any other business or individual that might have something to give you to put on the Raffle/Door prize tables or something that you'd like to donate(keep it clean and new-OK?) also for the tables!

Dick has asked Mary and I to coordinate this event this year, so be ready for me to hound everyone of you about bringing in some prizes to be distributed back to all of you during the Rally. We'd like to be able to send a gift/prize home with everyone that attends the Rally but we can't do that unless YOU go out and get those prizes and bring them along with you.

If you have an item or items you'll be bringing just post it here on this thread and we'll keep track of who is bringing what in.

Remember to get a business card or something from the business or individual you receive the item/s from so they can be recognized at the Rally for their contribution.

I don't know if Dick will be bringing his "PRIZE" he won last year back or not or which event at the Rally will get to see it but he can tell you about the goodie he got last year when you see him next or maybe he'll even chime in here and give you a few hints!

Talked with my dealer yesterday (Northgate RV, Ringgold, GA) and was promised something to bring. Can pick it up on 7/27 when picking up the Monty. Don't know what it will be yet.

Talked to our dealer last week. Will either give me a tripod jack or a satellite dish, their choice, when I go by there on my way to Indiana. Probably depends on what didn't sell this summer, but it will still be something nice.

Talked to the manager at Camping World, Roanoke, VA. He said he would check with corporate, but felt sure they would give something. Supposed to get back to me. Will let you know if and when he does.

Met with Billy Yates, owner, Northgate RV, Ringgold, GA today (my dealer) and he provided a nice 8 X 16 reversible patio mat and 2 door mats for me to bring as door prizes. I think that is pretty nice of him.

Sounds like we're starting to get a few things for the Raffle and Door Prizes. Looks like things are starting to come together! Keep those gifts and prizes coming!

Don't forget to get a business card or something from those that are giving the items so they get credit for the items! We hope to make up a poster with the names of the dealers and others on it. Thanks!

Not getting much response on this thread! We only have four weeks until the Rally and we need you all to hit up your dealer or anyone else you can think of(doesn't have to be a dealer or etc) and see what they will give you to bring to the Fall Rally for Raffle and Door Prizes! As I stated before-- we sure would like to fill up the tables in the front of the Big Tent with prizes so every rig at the Rally will leave with a prize! Infact, I'd like to see every member in attendance gets to go home with a prize or gift. That would be awesome and it can be done if you all hit up those dealers and businesses connected with RVing and see what they can donate something for our Fall Rally.

If you do bring something be sure to bring a business card/flyer from that donator so we can recognize them at the Rally.

Went to our dealer in Abilene, Ks., Four Seasons RV Acres and we got some nice door prize goodies. They gave us A 5 gallon Tote Along Portable Holding Tank, A Pop-a-Filter Coffee Filter Dispenser, a 30 AMP Power Supply Cord (25 ft.) and 10 portable Cool Paks (Insulated polyester 6 pack totes)

Hope all of you are reading this since we still need you to be hitting up your dealers or other businesses you have work on your TV or units and see if they will send something for the Raffle and Door Prizes! Don't forget a business card or some type of advertisement from then so we can recognize them at the Rally too! If you would like to contribute something for a Door or Raffle Prize we would gladly accept that also! THANKS AND SEE YOU IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS IN GOSHEN!!

My dealer turned cheap on me, but then again I turned cheap on him when I bought the rig. He backed down and gave me a nice patio mat so all isn't lost.
