Cheyenne Frontier Days
Have any of you guys been there in the past?
We will be in the area at that time and it looks like it might be worth seeing.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Jim and Carla,
I have neighbors in the boat next to me at the lake that go every year. They have a blast and are planning on going again this year. I am hoping that if plans work out, I will be going this year as well. My suggestion is if your in the area, from what I have heard about it- GO! I think you will enjoy yourself.

We were there last year and really enjoyed it. We stayed at a very nice RV park in Ft.Collins,CO "Heron Lake RV Park", which is only about 45 miles from Cheyenne and an easy drive on (4)lane highway.

After looking at your picture you have me curious did you install class III hitch on back of you Monty. How does tandem pulling work for you?

My son was stationed in the Air Force in Cheyenne. We tried to plan trips out to see him to match the time of Frontier Days.Its a great time. Most campgrounds that are in the town area, fill up fast. Nice KOA on I80 east of town, we stayed here one time. We also stayed at another campground and I cant give you the name they tried to make two sites out of one.Parking at Frontier Days mostly is on the side streets, unless they have made some changes.Go to the Cheyenne Frontier Days web site for more info.
