Anti-siphon valve

I'm gathering that the anti-siphon valve that Montana installs is POS. Is there a good reliable valve to replace it with? I'd rather be proactive and replace it before having to deal with a big mess and clean up! Thanks for your input.

Remove the factory valve and run the line direct. Then go to your local hardware store and buy one that screws in to the black tank flush connection in the convenience center. Problem solved and still protected just as good or maybe even better.

I think it's a POJ but you could be wright. I put a one way valve in the line. Got it at the hardware store.

Good replacements are available at hardware stores. As stated above, many of us have gone with an external backflow preventer like this: http://www.amazon.com/Homewerks-VAC-...flow+preventer

At Home Depot you can get a screw on anti-siphon valve for less than $10. Or you can get a screw on self draining anti-siphon valve for about $25. Although it cost more I would opt for the self draining. It is the same as you often see on outside water faucets, including those at RV parks.
