Surge Protector

I have a Surge Guard # 44290 that I have been using for about 2 years on and off. I recently used it about 2 weeks ago - till present and had 3 green lights showing. Last night I happened to look at the surge protector and the left light was indicating green and the other two were not showing anything ( open neutral). I took the surge protector to a empty sight and plugged it in with same indication.
Everything in the RV is working fine
I don’t know if this is true ( open neutral ) or a faulty surge protector
Any input is appreciated

Frank

If you have a volt/ohm meter test the cord after the surge guard. If you get voltage on each hot with the other test lead on neutral the little led indicators went bad. Happened to my neighbor with a Surge Guard product. Even though it was out of warranty they replaced it as a good will offering.

I have a volt/ ohm meter at home. As a matter of fact I plan on running back home for a couple of days leaving RV here. I will bring it back and check it out
Thanks

This problem may be happening throughout the park. I would make sure the park management is aware of the problem as this can cause major damage due to floating voltage. This may be a problem at the utility transformer, so they should be contacted by the park.

Yes I agree will let the management and their electrician know about this. As a matter of fact I might be able to get the electrician to come by and check my surge protector before I run home. If not I will bring my volt/ ohm meter back with me and check my surge protector.
