are you going to be using it throughout the summer or is it just going to sit there?

1. black water put in a few gallons--maybe 5-10 gallons.
2. grey water do the same
3. fresh water do the same but add a little bleach...do a search on the ratio.

thats it.

We use ours too much. It has water in it all the time, except during the coldest months. (End of December to the biginning of March) During that time, I empty them completely.

Bleach will dissipate over time and looses it's strength. So, although bleach is better than nothing, it has it's limited time frame of usefulness also. Replenish with bleach water often and you'll be fine.

I leave my fresh water tank full, never know when the main source go dry. I drain it annually and refill.
