Home theater

Has anyone replaced the stock lousy stereo system for a more home theater system. We replaced the sound bar in our last rig with a Bluetooth Bose sound bar but the new rig doesn’t have a sound bar. Just two small speakers.

sound bar

We have a Bose Solo sound bar that sits behind the TV and it sounds great.
Bought it at Sams for $199 3 years ago.

replaced ours with a 5.1 system. sound bar up front, wireless sub, with 2 rear speakers above the theater seating. sounds good, not as good as my bowers and Wilkins at home, but for camping its great.

Our old no-name DVD surround sound system died after 3-4 years of new. Unit was installed in a fairly small opening in the cabinet. I took measurements of the space, went to Best Buy, found a new Blu ray DVD 5.1 surround sound home theater system that would fit my space and bought it. Had to slightly modify speaker openings as the new ones were slightly larger. But not difficult and the sound is much better than the old one.

My 2011 had a Samsung surround sound system from the factory. It got switched to a Bose Acustimass I just had to splice in the wiring.
