I took mine on it's first trip and noticed after about an hour the front door side tire quit updating and then it went blank. I have the repeater but have not installed it yet. I believe this will resolve my problem. I do believe that the distance between the axles and the cab of my truck is right on the edge of it's range so I am installing the repeater.

Anyone know about the Ford TPMS? Installed inside tires. Displays info on the truck's 8" screen, so no separate monitor. I see some just screw onto the tire, but unsure about that.

I don't think you can add monitors to your Ford system. The 2017s you may be able to. The ones that attach to the valve stems is what almost every one uses. I think you need medal stems to use them.

We used the pressure pro for years and they served us well .We have been using the TST 507 NON flow through since 2013 and they work great .We rarely need to add air to the G614s on the Montana and the Goodyear wranglers on the truck. Being very lazy I would go with the flow through if I had it to do over again. With the TPMS it is so easy to check tire PSI. We are leaving on a road trip in a few days and today I went out fired up the TST and waited for the psi on all tires to read out .How easy can it get. We do not need a repeater on the TST or on the pressure pro .We do keep the antenna above the dashboard. The TPMS is a good investment considering the damage a failed tire will cause.

We bought the Tire Minder TM77 from CW and on our first 200 mile round trip of the season ending this past Sunday, the $400 junk gave us a false alarm right in the middle of the July 4th interstate traffic. We won't buy this brand again.

I have tst 507 and it is about half that cost from the factory. Makes no difference where you buy the tm system a false alarm has been mentioned before. That said the alarm sounded but numbers were accurate.

Correctamundo! 2017 doesn't allow it despite being bluetooth and all. According to what I read, you can use most on nonmettalic valve stems, but metal is better. Crappola: with the standard screen+ Tpms screen + Garmin screen + backup camera screen, my truck will look like a teenager geek's bedroom! What ever happened to "simplify"?

It's impossible that the alarm numbers were accurate 220 PSI with a 200 degree temp. After getting to an exit 10 minutes later the system apparently reset itself and the supposed problem tire was then 113 psi at 100 degrees.

Ford does sell an accessory for the 2017 in dash tpms for trailers. On their website under product description it states the sensors will not work with steel cased tires. Ford did not give a very satisfactory answer when questioned about it but Goodyear agreed this was likely true, however recommended stronger sensors similar to commercial trucks. Now if Ford would just come around to understanding that steel cased tires are becoming the preferred style tire.

Another option, tpms only.

I am wanting to get a set of TPMS for my camper. I would like to get a set for my boat trailer also (do not pull at same time) can I buy one display and get extra sensors for the boat trailer I do not want to reset the controller every time I use different trailers. Is this possible if so any suggestions on which system meet my needs. As always thanks I'm advance

I have Pressure Pro. When I bought the system originally I had a 1999 Ford F250 SD without TPMS so I bought 5 sensors for the truck and 5 for the trailer (4 tires on the ground plus spare). My current truck is a 2015 F350 SD that came with TPMS. Pressure Pro deals with a lot of large trucks (18 wheelers, etc.) so you could buy multiple sensors, some for the camper, some for the boat, etc. and as long as you remember which sensors are for which you would be fine. I have other trailers that I use the sensors on, and I just use the sensors I used to use on the older truck, so if an alarm goes off I know what's going on. Just my $.02.

My color monitor arrived and when I get home will switch from the original.
Happy to see Mike here. When he says to contact him he means it. TST has the best CS. I called the CS number a couple months ago on a Sunday morning to leave a message and they actually answered the phone and my question.
