I've just bought one Honda eu2000i. We haven't used it yet, but like most comments here I liked the small size of the one unit and handling two should be pretty easy.

We are currently in Mexico and used our Honda 2000 for the first time and it met all our needs except air and the convection oven, so if you do not have a gas oven and want to bake or have air, then two would be the way to go. Had a disappointing thing happen at one of the beach CGs which was crowded with the Easter campers---someone tried to steal our genterator. Long and short is that they were stopped, but not before they hacked their way through the handle which was chained to the ladder. Might want to think about epoxying some extra hard rods along the handle. (We have had more stuff stolen in the US and Canada over the years, so it can be a problem anywhere.)

Your experience with someone trying to steal your generator scares me because we have a Honda 2000 also. Were you in the camper when they tried to steal it? What else can we do to protect it?
