What type of slide?

Good evening. Is that an electric cable driven slide, electric gear driven slide or hydraulic slide?

Wow! All the way out? That’s crazy! I’ve had my hydraulic slides creep out at the storage yard a few inches when it was new but nothing like that. I figure there was a little air in the lines and I cycled all the jacks and the slides 4 or 5 times and that never happened again.

It doesn't look like a Schwintek. Must be hydraulic. Either way weird!

My slides will creep out (all hydraulic) on my '04 occasionally. Always seems to happen in wild temperature swings, like -10˚ and then 35˚ the next day. I always just pull them back in.

I had slide creep, and then it was less than an inch. I have not seen a slide creep that far on its own! I suspect there is a seal in a ram that is not providing a good seal on the inside of the cylinder, and someone pulled the slide out. Or, there is a seal in a ram that is not providing a good seal on the inside of the cylinder, and you have a slight decline permitting gravity to move the slide outward. Or, the cylinders are fine, and you have a loose connection or crack in a hydraulic line and the aforementioned conditions occurred. Or, someone had run it out and forgot to bring it back in.

I would check fluid levels, cycle the slides a few times to ensure the rams' seals are clear of debri and watch it. I would check for leaks too!
