New Aspiring Full Timers

Hello, Everybody! My husband and I are making progress on our path to becoming Full Timers. We recently purchased a 2016 Montana High Country 293RK which we have nicknamed Holmes and a beautifully maintained used Dodge Ram 3500 to pull it named Watson. We are learning everything that we can about our new home while prepping our sticks and bricks in the Orlando, FL area to sell. Thomas is a computer programmer and hopes to transition to remote work in the next few months. Shanon is a homemaker/writer who will be doing the planning, driving and chronicling of our adventures. We are new to fifth wheels but not to the RV lifestyle, having previously owned two travel trailers and a pop up. We appreciate the wisdom that we have found here in the forum from those who have already been there and done that! Thank you!

Welcome from Arizona. We are not full timers but I do live in the Montana 7 months a year. This forum is without a doubt the best place to ask questions on any subject re your rig. Have fun and be safe.

Welcome, hoping you enjoy fulltimming as much as we did for 10 years.

I might suggest you drop in on the https://escapees.com/ site and do a bit of reading. Several folks here are members of Escapees. Been a member for over 23 years.

Jim

Welcome! We started full timing in September and have enjoyed it with only a few small problems that we had to adjust to. Grandma and the Grandkids seem to be struggling with the new changes. Enjoy the new rig and gather lots of info from this site.
