New Model 2025 3531RE

Anybody see this new 2025. I love the new layout with the side fold out patio.

I like everything except the slide porch open the entire rig is open to flying insects, wind at the beach, etc. It should have a slider IMO.

Tony - it looks like there is a screen slider door and some other weather- proof door that slide across the opening. I have no idea if the weatherproof door is glass or plastic film like some of the shower doors I’ve seen. Glass sliders that large would be heavy! See screen shot below showing 2 handles. She did the video tour a disservice by not showing that door and how it works. I’ll bet both the screen door and the weather door roll up like a window blind inside the door jamb.

Good catch, couldn't see on my phone. I assume you still have to pull in the slide at night.

I would not think the slide would have to come in at night…just pull the sliding doors together and lock them.

My wife and I are usually the only ones using the rig. However, often we have company and even overnighters for several days. With a kitchen table for only two, it wouldn't work for me. Also seems like most people would like to have room for at least four upon occasion!!! I have seen other rigs with a table for two but seems a bit restrictive.

Table not a problem for us, we took ours completely out, and all the chairs.

I wonder how that open wall does in the Winter in really cold weather? Or, even moderately cold weather? I don't think the intended use for this camper is in cold climates.

Keystone needs to follow the lead of the major Class A manufacturers IMHO and get rid of the propane cooktop and oven and go with induction. I would still want propane for the hot water heater and furnace, but we have not used our propane cooktop and oven in many years. Once we set up we pull out an induction cooktop out of our bedroom closet. Just my $.02.

Would never want to give up cooking with gas - the only way to go.

Induction cooktop would also require an inverter or running the genny when boondocking.

We've been looking at the Cougar version of this floorplan. Doesn't have the side patio and has a four person dinette.

It does come with opposing screen doors to keep the flying critters out
