Finally happened to me?

We've been towing our 2019 331RL about 45-50 days a year since we purchased it five years ago. I've seen posts where a large "floor screw" pushes up through the linoleum flooring and bulges the floor. Well after five years it has happened to me. So questions about what everyone has done to remove or repair this?

I have split the flooring with a razor and screwed it back down while at the campground this past weekend. I felt like it went back in fairly tight so I thought it might be good. Today we traveled the 280 miles home and when we got back, the screw was backed out again. It has pushed out or twisted out over a 1/4 of an inch.

I can remove it completely. Anyone tried adding come type of loc-tite to keep one from backing out? Anyone tried an alternate method? Will it hurt anything to leave it out and not do anything else but glue the floor down? Does anyone know if this is simply attaching the plywood flooring to a cross frame member?

This is common. It happened to me. The fix, cut a slit, remove the screw, prepare a special glue and work it under the lino. I don't know what kind of glue. There is a nation wide company that Keystone uses for this warranty repair. I can't recall at the moment, but I 'll try to find it.
Found it one of my earlier posts.

Vet4jdc, I have one coming up by the kitchen island, and I had one in the bedroom. Frustrating how those are able to unthread and do come up under the flooring.

Finally happened to me?

I had one near the kitchen island back out. I cut the flooring and screwed it back in. It lasted a little while but then backed out again. Something must has shifted because then I couldn't get it to screw back in. I ended up just taking it completely out and gluing a patch over the hole in the flooring. Haven't noticed any issues so far ...

We had the same thing happen to us, the screw that came out was by the island. I tried to screw it back in but it wouldn't tighten so I just took it out.

Same here. Screw next to island in front of fridge. Screw is about 5" long. I cut enough around the head to remove it, then filled the hole with Lexel and pushed the flap of the linoleum back down over the screw hole. So far, it's holding ok.
I will say that our rig just came back from Elkhart earlier this year and one thing they repaired was a crowning in the kitchen floor, so maybe when they "repaired" that, it put stress somewhere else and caused the screw to back out.
Our suspension was originally put on the frame way out of square. The right rear hanger was 6 inches back from where it should have been. Keystone and dealer had a mobile welder cut off the hanger and weld it back on in the correct place. My thoughts are that this frame twisted out of square has been the root of most of our problems with sidewall cracks, frame flex and now flooring screws popping up. The rig was built on an "out of square" frame to start with.

I wouldn't put the screw back in without using lock tight. It will back out again.

I would try to determine what direction the supporting joist under the flooring runs, then starting where the problem screw used to be, drill two pilot holes at a 45 degree angle to each other then thread two new screws into the flooring. Angled screws are less likely to back out then one entering at a 90 angle. In drilling the small pilot holes you can assess that you are on top of a support joist. Using a thread locker might also be good.

Ditto...mine was at the edge of our dinet slide (removed). Another popped up in the master bath at the sliding door. This one actually poked through the flooring.

That is what I did with a screw backing out near the Island. Took it out applied Locktight and screwed it back in. Has been a couple of years now and no problems.
