Ham Radio testing
Is any one interested in getting, or upgrading a Ham license this year? We are scheduling testing events as we travel. The testing team has been growing and giving us more opportunity's to issue the Exam. Several of us have been staying in contact over the air between rallies. just reach out to me if you need guidance with test prep or scheduling. (I can also find teams in most areas of the country by your zip code)

I upgraded at 2023 fall rally to General. If you do the same this fall I would be interested in upgrading to extra.

Thanks. I haven’t purchased any HF gear yet. Still trying to find the time to put my dual band in my GMC. I have been looking at the multi band units though. Not sure how they stack up against a dedicated HF unit.

Hi,
I was looking into a good course to learn.
The book I bought is hard to digest.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mike

study idea's
look at hamtestonline.com.
this is a pay for study program but it works well.
and it is not big bucks as well.
not memorization, you learn the theory as you study along.
the program remembers what you stumbled on and repeats the questions and theory as you move along with your studies.
it will repeat the theory you missed interspersed with your new study material until you answer the previous theory questions correctly.
i tried the books, the flash cards and most of the other study methods till i found this study method.
it helped me complete my extra upgrade.
i hope this helps guide you to your license and/or upgrade and i look forward to hearing your call on the air.
