no 12 volt power
2019 3120RL
Not getting 12 volt power to trailer.
50 amp connected to shore power works, inverter off. Everything works.
Disconnect short power turn on inverter and all inverted outlets but the refrigeration works.
Disconnect shore power & turn off inverter none of the 12v system works.
I suspect it is the transfer switch. I do not know where it is located nor what it looks like. Can you help me locate it? Can they be DIY repaired? If not what should I get as a replacement unit?
I have read here, about some transfer switches of this year being faulty.
I am comfortable with electrical and rebuilding components.

I am pretty sure 12V has nothing related to the transfer switch. Have you checked the voltage at the batteries with a meter? Maybe you had the battery disconnect turned the wrong way - in which case the batteries don't get charge by the converter(from 120 V). Also, no 12V works if switch is wrong. It should be left turned such that you can NOT remove it. And just leave it there always.

Battery disconnect is in the "OFF" position. Pointing down and the red key cannot be removed.
Batteries measure 13.7 volts

I am confused.
The switch is turned clockwise with the "tab" of the red key pointing down and the key cannot be removed.
It is labeled "Battery Disconnect". To me this means "On" is the battery IS disconnected. "Off" means the battery disconnect is off, therefore the battery in NOT disconnected meaning it IS connected.

If you cannot remove the key then that should be the correct position. You could switch it just to see if it made any difference.
If your 12 vdc lights work on shore power but not when you disconnect shore power that would indicate the lights are working off the converter when plugged in but not from the battery when unplugged. You probably have 3 auto reset circuit breakers near the battery, one for hydraulics, one for the inverter, and one for every thing else (which would include your lights). With a voltmeter you should have 12 vdc on both terminals of all of the breakers. If not you have a bad auto reset breaker(s).
A bad transfer switch should have no affect on the 12 volt system other than possibly preventing the batteries from charging.

On my 2013 3402RL, the battery switch is in a horizontal position when DC power is working...putting my switch in the vertical position you've stated on your lever turns my DC power off...don't know if your rig is opposite to what mine is or not. Try moving the lever to the horizontal position and see what happens

Ed,
You want the disconnect switch fully clockwise where the key can not be removed to have your battery connected. This could be construed as off or on depending on which side of the key you are using. The attached picture shows the batteries connected.

Thank you all for assisting.
Short story --> replaced one of the 50 amp fuses from the batteries.
Long story
Multiple issues made the problem difficult.
The power post at the RV site had intermittent issues. switched to neighbor side.
Microwave required replacing of the internal 20 amp fuse. This required guessing how to remove the top panel. maybe will post photos later.
After fixing the above as to make sure I was dealing with a single issue, I measures the voltage across the two 50 amp breakers-fuses at the batteries. One measured 14.5 volts the other measures 13.5. Hmmmmm.... I have had issues with these before and i had bought two, thus i had a new one on hand. After replacing the one that measured 13.5 volts all was good. Still waiting for the RV site people to check out the power post.

The better, more accurate technique is to measure from a post to ground on each side of the self-resetting breaker. That way you can identify the breaker that is not passing 12V current.

When the trailer is plugged into shore power it won't charge the batteries unless the switch is left in the ON position

Inverters produce 120V AC, and use 12 V DC. If you disconnect shore power you need a healthy battery. I am betting you have original batteries that have been abused and are dead.

And all this confusion about that battery disconnect switch in the convenience center COULD be eliminated if Keystone would re-label the switch from on and off to battery connected and battery disconnected. But hey, that is asking a lot...build a better product. John

]On ours it was the small breaker that automatically resets. Which it stopped doing. It's near your battery mounted on the wall. Large cale to it and 2-3 writes leaving it. It costs about $3.00, be sure and get one that has a metal case if you can. We have a local rv repair guru down the street that told me about this when ours failed. He didn't charge me anything but told me it's fairly common with all keystone products from when they switshed to all plastic breakers. Same symptoms as you have.

YES the battery disconnect label is confusing. Make your own label
"Battery Connected"
"Battery Disconnected"
Get some spare 50 amp breakers

I never use the switch in the convenience center. I installed a master "kill" switch in the battery compartment to shut off all power.

just wondering
does your switch placement actually cutoff ALL 12 volts?
On my system I see multiple 12v+ wires and ground wires.

Yes, I did some rewiring. I made some new wires to make it work and route them so I had good access, cleaned it up.
