I was lucky and found a station in Racine, Wi @$2.35.9, every where else is $2.55.9 - $2.69.9. We cancelled our RV trip to Vegas because of the rising fuel costs. We did score a reasonable round trip air fare with hotel so the trip is still on.

Unfortunately, the USA isn't the only country to effect oil pricing. China & India have economy's that are really improving faster than other countries. Therefore, they have a bigger demand for power and the fuel to supply that power. They're demand is an important part of our fuel prices going up. The other factors mentioned previously are also true. OK, I'm done. Jim

Just paid $2.599 at the local Wally World for Diesel. It has now passed the price of regular gas at that station.

I find diesel prices going up and gas prices coming down. The oil folks know that more complaining will come from the gas users than the diesel user. To keep their profits up they balance out with higher diesel prices. Today I went out looking for the ALTERNATIVE FUEL station again so I could fill up my truck, I found none.

That is what diesel is here still while gas is at $2.75/GAL.
