Deer vs TT

Not a Montana, but this is pretty incredible.
If you hit the pause, start, pause, start, button quickly several times you can see that she doesn't even seem to be injured while simply jumping off the trailer.

Wow! That shows how cheaply some RV are made, lucky for the deer.

I came by a motorcycle on the Blueridge Parkway last summer that had hit a deer. The deer and the motorcycle was laying on the side of the road and the man was laying on a stretcher. He was being still. I thought he was going to the hospital no he was going to the morgue. I you ride be careful. The Parkway is a great place to ride. Light traffic, slow moving traffic few exits. It can still be dangerous.

Holy crap! Thanks for sharing.

It’s actually a travel trailer, not a 5er.

Similar happened to a local biker a couple years ago except it was a feral hog. Both died.

Start the video. Then immediately pause it and slowly slide the progress bar to watch it forward and backward in slow motion. The front of that TT collapses like a soft pad cushioning the blow. Looked like little if any rigid framing. Almost went completely into trailer. I can see where the deer could get off with nothing more than a few bruises and a good scare.

y'all know you can watch the playback at 25% of normal speed by clicking on YT then click the settings and .25. Nic slow motion replay.

One poster said about how cheaply some RVs are made... you mean all RVs. a deer impact like that will destroy the front of any RV.... end of discussion.

A friend of mine hit a deer at 70mph on a full dress Harley. Totaled the bike and he walked away with only bruised ribs thanks to his leathers.

This is what kept Evil Knievel alive when he crashed, listen to the interview after the Las Vegas craSH some thing about his really tight leathers kept broken bones to a minimum.

On YouTube (as this is), if you pause, you can use the period and comma buttons on your keyboard to go frame-by-frame forward and backward.

That deer may not have looked injured but you don't see how the deer landed on the other side. I would bet that deer died from internal injuries.
