Montana 3075

Just traded in my 2004 Montana (2980),ordered a new 3075, that took 8 weeks to get. Ordered it while in Arizona, got back to Michigan April 23, and the 5th wheel was ready for pick-up. The 2980 was nice, but after three months of living in it (first time that long) you find out what you like n don,t like. I got a fair trade-in price back in Michigan, n made the deal. Being 65, who know how long i,ll enjoy RV.
The 3075 had a hide-a-bed with air matress, seems better, the 2004 had an island n was stuck with the jack-knife bed, hard on the back.
New RV has a king bed, convection microwave, bigger back window, aluminuim wheel,hook-up center(cool);Moyre ride system and numerous other changes that are standard equipment.
Being only 2 foot longer, the new design front-end n my slider hitch on my 2004 Chevy HD short box; can just about do a 90 degree turn with no trouble, great for parking. I just brought it home, so far I like it, pulled it about 150 miles, so far.
Pin weight isn,t much more than the 2004 model, n i won,t be using the washer/dryer feature.
Always wondered why people on the group traded their rigs after only having them for what seemed like a short time. i see why now, they keep changing them , and the resale valve seems to be holding up well. Not being a full-timer, i like to keep within my trucks range. Think this one will last me for awhile. My 2980 was a great rig, and the only promblem I had was the shower; n Keystone took care of me even after the warranty run out. What more can you ask, that people stand behind thier product.
Now that i,ve carried on, I,ll go back n scan a few other notes from other people.

We have the 3075 as well. We will be back yard camping next weekend in preparation for our shake down trip to Mount Desert Island. Just put the hitch in the truck this weekend so we are almost ready for our first Montana experience. And we don't have to worry about weather with this rig!

We have had our 3075 for 4 months, we have pulled it about 3000 miles and have spend 34 nights in it. So far we have used it it in very cold weather (20s), very hot weather (103) and one major rain storm. We couldn't be happier with it. It pulls great, keeps us warm, dry and cold as needed.

Congratulations on your new 3075 you couldn't have made a better choice.

Congats on the new rv Snow and we all hope you get to enjoy it for many, many, more years to come. Being 65 or being 52 like myself we never know what the future holds for us and that is a gooood thing. Over the last couple of years in our small community we have lost a number of good friends and people in the 48 to 55 years of age range. That has influenced Maureen & I to take early semi-retirement, by a new trailer and truck and start living life to the fullest while we still can. All lot of us are re-thinking how we live our lives. There isn't any special designation on those stones in the graveyard indicating who died being the richest(money wise)!!!

We also have a 3075 which we picked up in Dec in freezing cold Ontario and then headed to TX and the Rio Grande Valley. The rig has been very satisfactory except for a few minor things. Would you believe one of the recliners would not function! I never though to check it. The furniture manufacturer acted very quickly and sent a replacement to us in TX. As a side note the new chair is quite a bit smaller than the originals and seems much more appropriate to the space available. Again the Flair furnature people were great shipping another one to match the new replacement. Only other thing is that the drawer sliders are falling apart, and the the caulking around the exterior seams is very sloppy. It's time consuming to clean it up. The unit tows well and my fuel consumption is just as good as it was with our previous but smaller 5er.
