We have the 2720 and upgraded to the nuvi 765. The 2720 is a discontinued model now. The 765 has been great.

I still have a 2720 but mostly use the Nuvi 765T I bought a couple of months ago. So far I really like it. I'm not sure the difference, but does the 465T have ability to store a route or just waypoints? If just waypoints, can you fine tune your route? Better yet, can you upload a route from a mapping program (Garmin provides mapsource)? Or does any of that matter to you?
You have to get the one that best meets your needs without being overkill. When I did the comparisons at the garmin site and then followed up by googling for reviews, the 765T turned out to be best for me. And I'm very happy with it. The 465T may be best for you, though.
As point of reference, I paid $219.95 for the 765T back in January. I searched online but drove to an actual Car Toys store to buy it. In other words, don't pay Garmin's price, whatever you buy.

Just got the Garmin Nuvi 1690. So far so good. We also have a Nuvi 680 and a Garmin 60C.

Hi, I have the 465T, just bought 3 months ago to replace a stolen one....grrrr.
Some reviews are not the best, but I did plug in my truck/fiver specs and drove some A to B routes in truck mode, then car mode and it did route you differently.
In truck mode, it does "ping" you about weigh scales ahead, sharp curves ahead (too often) and strong winds (we have'nt experienced that yet.

I have been considering one to keep in the truck and leave the tomtom we already have in the van. It is good to hear from people who have and use them. My hold up is I have read on another forum that in truck mode it will NOT let you route to a campground, rv park or such and that is the reason for getting one. Sinterior have you noticed this or is this wrong info from someone that has not used it properly?

Hi, I didn't notice your question.....so busy lately, but to answer your question, no, there is no problem and it guides you to the driveway.

Thank you for replying. I think I will probably end up getting one for the truck this year and try Garmin. I like my TomTom but it can get goofy sometimes and I hear alot of good about Garmin.
Again Thanks.
