I have the shock kit. Yes, they are angled appropriately (for those that are going to jump on here and say most shock kits are not). No, I can't tell a difference because I don't ride in the RV and I never had much of a problem with stuff moving around; either before of after the shocks. So, I doubt you will see a big difference. On the other hand; they don't hurt anything. I had the shock kit put on while the shop was rebuilding my entire suspension; probably would not have done it otherwise.

Just don't leave loose stuff laying around; especially in the back of your unit. Our couch is in the back and nothing will ride on it.

MorRyde independent suspension will improve the ride of the rig.

I am skeptical (even though I have them) that shocks would prevent that; but I can't say for sure. The Morryde IS on your previous unit was what gave it a smooth ride. The shock kit is not very expensive, a couple hundred IIRC, you could try it.

I put shocks on a 5er. It weighed only 7000 pounds. I couldn’t tell any difference in it. These Montana campers weigh twice that so I don’t see how they could make any difference except what you think. They are a small shock controlling a lot of weight.

Take a look at the Sumo Springs. They are compression springs that increase resistance as they are compressed. Act much like shocks and really help. I have them. Made a big difference and saved me some big $$ over IS suspension.
