norcold doors

Our Norcold refrige doors (4 door) will unlatch if the door next to it is shut till latch clicks, either freezer or refrige. When unlatched it leaves about 1/8 inch gap. The small catches share the same hole and push either out. Is there a fix.

Give Norcold customer service a call, they've been helpful for me in the past.

We had the same problem with our 2010. Installed rubber window/door insulation stripping from Home Depot at the top and sides of the refrig box itself so that when the OEM seals on the doors made contact with what I installed, a good seal resulted. Got tired of the beeping every time the door popped loose. Lasted from late 2010 until we traded in July.

I didn't think my doors were sealing as good as they should so I purchased a really good looking thin material from Lowe's. But when I got back to the CG to begin the project I discovered that my seals on the Norcold are magnetic. By putting a spongy seal around my doors I felt like I would be defeating the magnetic seals and possibly making to worse.
