Full Body Paint Cost

Can someone give me an idea what the cost is for the new option "full body paint" on the Montana.
Is it about the same as it was for the Big Sky?

Told by the dealer $10K. Not worth it to me, particularly with the chipping I have seen

Guaranteed you could find an auto or truck painting place to do it for $5k.

When we purchased our Big Sky (albeit almost 3 years ago), the whole package (paint, tires, levelers, awning with cover, round shower door) was listed at $6,000. After getting 30% + off the MSRP, I figured that meant the package was around $4,200 - far cheaper than what I could get it for by buying individual pieces parts. Now that paint is a separate option I don't know what the asking price is. Next time I am by the dealer (to visit my trailer in the repair shop) I will ask.

I was "quoted" about $13K to paint my 05 Big Sky at a reputable Elkhart RV paint shop. DW won't let me spend that much...

I wonder if the Elkhart shop had any takers? Sounds like pricing to the market--Montana asking $10K--we will go higher just to see who bites. I am definitely OUT at anything over $5K.

I think the BIG S KY package was listed at 10K full body paint included. The package is considerable less than that after negotiations. To be perfectly honest I am not a fan of the full Body paint. It is pretty but it chips easily. If I were t o do it again I would NOT get the paint. Just me.

We are pleased with our fbp. Very easy to clean. Very few chips so far. With Croftgate products, I can wash and wax it in about 6 hours. There is no perfect way, but some things are just easier and better.
