What patio chairs

Since owning bigger boats for years and now the RV, we have had almost every type of patio chair made, from regular folding, to folding rockers, to rigid non-folding swivels/rockers. We are looking for the "perfect" RV chairs if there is such a thing out there. They have to be light, fit in the basement, weather proof, and extremely comfortable. What say ye experienced Montana people?

I doubt there is such a thing. What fits my butt and back will not necessarily fit yours comfortably. We have discovered a couple of different folding chairs that we like, and they are not the common 'bag' chairs. You just have to check them out and sit in them. We don't hesitate setting the chair up and sitting in it while in a store. They want to sell them and we have never had a problem doing this.

I bought these chairs for our 45ft boat. Now I bought them for my RV. Most comfortable chairs I ever owned! Three back surgeries and I found these chairs are comfy, stable , easy to get in and out! If you live near a WestMarine they stock them. Go try one out ! Last for years! I mean years. Owned them for 10 years with my boat. New owner insisted they stay! Not cheap just the best IMHO!

We carry two extra wide anti-gravity chairs, I believe they are called, and two matching bag chairs. All purchased at Sam's club. We find others sitting in the larger chairs quite often, so they must be ok.

Ours are actually cammo. They set nicely on edge in the basement.

I agree, the marine deck chairs are probably the highest quality folding chairs you can purchase. I ended up with four, which all went with the boat when we sold. Two I pulled from the garbage. Someone had thrown them out because of worn cushions. I recovered them and they were still going strong years later. I thought about those but still wonder if there is something more comfortable.

We also have two antigravity chairs and two "bag type" chairs, but each of ours is different. Since Joyce and I are considerably different in size we have found one of each type that works for each of us. No reason to be uncomfortable.

Find a chair that fits you. Everyone is different and what I like (Costco camp chair) may not work for you.

I will make one suggestion. If you use the woven plastic mats on the ground when you are camping, be careful of the type of legs on the chairs you purchase. The deck chairs Artimus linked to have tubular legs with rubber feet. This style has the tendency to wear through the rubber feet exposing the aluminum tube. The tube then becomes a cookie cutter making little round holes in your plastic mat. A better choice for legs are those with smooth tubes/bars to support the chair. The chair linked to by bethandkevin has the idea. That one is a recliner but chairs come in similar styles. Here is one like I am referring to.
