cable TV

I am a new full timer and getting used to how everything works in my 2005 Montana. Tonight I am stumped and would like some help. I just hooked up to cable TV and managed to get the livingroom TV working but I'm getting no signal in the bedroom. The only thing the owners manual says is "make sure the Antenna Power Booster is set on "cable" and not "antenna". Well, I have searched this RV and cannot find any such thing. I had a satellite prep cable connection which I hooked the livingroom cable to and that worked for the livingroom although the local channels are fuzzy. The bedroom gets no cable. Can someone help me out here.

Not sure of your model number, but the booster on our 3400 is in the front closet adjacent to the bedroom TV. If the light is on the booster is on and the cable connection will not work properly. There is a samll black button on the booster to turn it on and off. If that doesn't help with the bedroom TV then you have to make sure the jumper wires in the entertainment center in the living room are connected properly. It is usually trial and error since on some units the incoming wiring was connected to different location (From what others have said on the forum could be because of different installers??) Good luck and let us know if this helps, if it doesn't we will have to consult more of the forum experts!!!!

Maybe this will help. TV system should be set up according to this diagram.

I am not sure about the new ones, but ours has a 12v outlet right at the same place as the booster in the 3400RL. Look at where your TV cable connects in the bedroom. You will probably find a little black button right there. If the lights lit, the booster is on and no cable/satellite. If the light is out, you should be good to go if all the cables in the entertainment center are right.
