Between Sutherlin and Elkton, Oregon
Passed two Montanas about 10:30am on the road between Sutherlin and Elkton. Flashed our lights at you. We are driving a silver Toyota Sequoia. On our way to Florence for a day or two.

Margee,
You are traveling one of our favorite routes. We took that to get over to Winchester Bay. We're actually in the SP called Umpqua Lighthouse. There are several MOCers here. We are here until next Wed.
Don't spend all your money in the casino!
Have a great trip.

Dennis... So you are in Winchester Bay? We might see you as we will be driving towards home and passing by you on Monday or Tuesday.

Yes. We are just south of Winchester Bay. The State Park and in number 7. Drop by and say hello or toot your horn as you go by! Hope you're enjoying the rain as much as we are!
Later,
Dennis

Robbie,
Could have been. Claudia told us when they were leaving but I've closed my eyes since then so have forgotten! Man this CRS stuff is getting severe. Or not. I don't really remember!
I love the rain. You have to remember that in my small part of the world we seldom see this stuff! And we had a terribly hot summer.
See you at Happy Hour!
Dennis

It probably was Nailbender and Searchers you encountered. They were planning to leave this morning and would have taken Hwy-138/38 towards Sutherlin.

We were thinking about going to Winchester Bay on our pilgrimage south this year. The sound of rain has us thinking about a more inland route. I will check the weather for Reedsport area and see if there is any possibility of it getting better (dry).

Yep that was us. We were traveling with Don & Claudia to the Valley of the Rogue. We couldn't escape the rain, it followed us all Saturday and most of today traveling home.
