The original mattress now just 2 yrs old is killing my back. I think it's an RV king. Appx 80x72 1/2. Any suggestions on a good replacement?

We just got a purple and are very happy with it. We are full time, so we invested in a good one.

We purchased a Helix (Click here). They are not cheep at all, but they are good! They come in a box, all squished up. Open the box, unwrap the plastic and let it expand. Oh, one other thing too, they are NOT light! You may have problems lifting the mattress to access the under the bed storage area. But it sleeps wonderful!

Thanks , we just had washer and dryer installed in our small pre plumbed closet so guess where all the stuff in that closet went. Yes under the bed so the Helix may not be for us.

we got ours from Sams Club. they delivered and took the old one. We still store a lot under there. Put a small board under the edge to hold a long piece of 1x1 we use to hold the bed up while we root under there.

We replaced out original mattress with a Sleep Number mattress and won't go back to any regular one. We did have to drill a couple of holes to run the tubing and the electrical cord but well worth the time and effort.

We purchased the King Comfort Tech 10" Serene Medium Foam RV Mattress from Costco last year and are very, very happy with it. Ordered online about $450.00.

Sleep number. DW like her side soft. I like my side firm. No more back ache.
They are very light (filled with air).

Sleep Number here also, it's in it's third unit, first think to get moved into a new unit.

The best and it's made for RVs so it weighs less than tradional mattresses.

Bed Replacement

We replaced ours with a "Puffy" mattress. puffy.com. It came in a roll so getting into the camper was pretty easy. We also have a purple in our house and I think the Puffy is a tad more comfortable. Plus the Puffy was half or more less than the Purple. I was also concerned being in Texas of having the Purple in the heat and it getting malformed as the seat cushion has a warning about leaving it in your car in high heat conditions. Plus when you order one of these online they will give you 100 nights and you can return it if you do not like it. Hope you find a good one that works for you!

We replaced ours (rv king) 4 years ago with a memory foam unit that we got from CW. I believe that the brand was Carpenter Bedding and it was less than $400.00. This is an extremely comfortable mattress and is still as good as it was on day one.

Replacement mattress!

We have a purple 3 queen. It is amazing! It gets a little sung with 2 boys and a French Bulldog.

I checked out the Birch. It’s a natural latex mattress. I didn’t check out the others so I can’t say any thing about them. I’ve been sleeping on a latex mattress for well over ten years. Latex unlike other foam will never sagg. Ours is as good as new.
I have a friend who makes mattress. He buys expensive mattress and cuts them open to see what they are made of. They are either cheap springs with cheap foam or cheap foam. Most have what I call Walmart a foam top. Go to Walmart and check out their foam tops and that is what you have.
