New 3230CK Super Solar - Quattro

Update one our 4th Montana - Quattro. We were a few days behind Arkware at Leach Camper. (A lot of discussion on dealers - this is a good one). Our PDI was pushed back a few days because In-Command could not communicate to our HVAC. The tech traced it back to a jumper on the roof that was only on one of the two terminals. As Ron said about his unit, a layout that fits for us and fit and finish was great. We have spent (3) days at the dealer and will stay one more night. Learning everything will take some time. The Super Solar hasn’t really been tested much as we’re still plugged in. Will be getting our BIM charging at Future Sales and will see if Matt can give us a run through.

One of the first things was to turn off the need to input a code to use In-Command. Still getting used to only having one I-Device connected at a time. We have some of our personalization’s done and it is starting to feel like home. Our good friends Ron and Mary Lichtenberg showed up to help move things to our new rig. One of the nice things about the MOC, friends you would never have met otherwise. Today is spent finishing putting things away, moving the TPMS booster and a few other last minute things.

We also need to get our new Pullrite 3900 hitch in today. Our new Ram long bed is finally on a transport, but it looks like we will have to pull with the old truck for awhile. Lots of new things to get used to and learn.

Congratulations on your new 3230 CK and new tow vehicle. Sounds like a nice combination. Happy and safe roads to you.

Thanks, Tom. We haven’t left the RV dealer yet. Moving from old rig to new, satellite issues and such have resulted in us being here four nights. We fly solo tomorrow. Our truck is finally at the dealer. Will pick it up Monday.

Congrats on getting things sorted out and ready for fun with Quattro.

Was at dealer today for day 1 of PDI or our unit. So far so good. Already tired of of the in-Command code myself. Please share how to turn it off.

If you go into Password under settings, then timer and set to never. Hope this helps. You will still need the code on your phone. Also, iPhone only allows one connected device at a time. So, the only two ways I have found to do a handoff is by turning Bluetooth off on the connected device, connecting in Bluetooth on the other device and then entering the app. The other method is going into settings, Bluetooth, connected device, disconnect.

Thanks I'll give that a try. I was also having trouble pairing second device, so that also explains that problem. Both comments will save me from chasing the same rabbit.

I did see both DC OS and BCM has updates available that were later than my unit.

DC OS
Version: 2.3.45
Released: 03/2021

BCM

Version: 1.04.75
Released: 02/2021

Don't see any release notes, but I plan to update and see if that fixes the multiple device issue.

I believe that is an Apple security “feature”, allowing only one device to connect at a time. I believe I read you can have other Android devices connected.
