Shore power socket fail

After reading about power cords failing due to the stress of the cord “pulling” the wires loose bought a 90 degree adapter. So when I went to put it this weekend guess what....... the cord points up, 180 degrees the wrong direction! Camco fail Keystone fail or both!?!?!?! So my question is can I simply rotate the whole socket 180 degrees so the cord points towards the ground no it the sky?

I believe others have said you can remove some screws and rotate the socket somehow. Others will probably answer soon - Probably at the free dinner tonight here at the Rally!

Yes, we took the screws out and rotated ours.

When you turn the socket, this would be an ideal time to check and tighten the electric connections at the socket, and to make sure it is only copper wire under the screws when you do tighten them. This will save you a lot of grief later on.
