A small leak!

During our trip to NW Arkansas, June 30 - July 4, we had a small leak comming from the data port plate. Of course we did have over 7.00 inches of rain during a 48-hr period not counting the rain on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I checked the outside connection, it looked like a good seal. Climbed the ladder and looks like a good seal and also the light housing on top. There was only a slight dripping when the wind was blowing and raining really hard. Does anyone have any ideas. This was our first long trip in our new 2005 3295RK.

Is your data port in the rear above the desk? may want to check that rear cap/roof joint again, another thought, I will have to look at mine, but is there a window there close?

7 inches of rain in 48 hours and only a small leak, you did good. I would probably reseal around the areas that you saw the leak and start a list for the dealer to check prior to the end of your warranty period.

If your 2005 is like our 2003 3295RK that dataport is to the left of the window above the desk. You might check the seals around the window. It might be getting in there. Also check the other things mentioned by others. You shouldn't get any water regardless of the amount of rain, in my opinion. The exception on ours is the drain holes in the bottom of the window frames. If the rain is blowing hard sometimes it will blow in those holes.
