Pitted sliding shower bar

I have a 2010 Montana and after only 2 seasons the bottom 3" of the bar that the shower head slides up and down is all pitted. we are very conscious about keeping things clean and do not know what is causing this. The manufacture name on the unit is DURA. I have contacted DURA on this matter and they said that Keystone had a special contract with them on these units and do not have replacement parts for them. I have contacted my Campingworld dealer and asked if this is covered under my extended warranty and they said no. Does anyone know where I may be able to get a replacement sliding rod ?? Thank you !!
