I did call they do not seem to answer thier phones. Any warranty should be in writing can you simply post the warranty. Fredy's mobile car washing who knows if they will even be in business in the future to honor a un herd of warranty like 9 years for a wipe on wipe off product. If they actually do have a product that has a valide 9 year warranty that is as cheap as you say also long as it ia back by a solid product manufacture I wold drive the hour to Portland to have it done

They close at 5 PN Eastern time. I stopped by before that today and they wasn’t open. It’s not in Portland it’s Salem Va. so it may be a little longer than that hour.

One side comment re Chasnracin's post about compounding and polishing an older gelcoat is that there was a member in the past month or so who had their older 5er, compounded and polished and then found hairline cracks. I don't recall if it was ever proven or resolved but do recall some thought that the vibration from the process + the embrittled gelcoat were potential culprits. They also had the gelcoat that was not smooth, where you could see a slight texture from the glass strands. You might want to inspect your walls and ask the detailer about potential damage.
Re the OP from 2020 (post #1) about what to use on the matt finished skirting, I recently used Chemical Guys Matt Detailer/Sealant and was/still am happy with the results.

What is the required maintinence in the small print. Bottom line ther is no liquid product that officially hads a official warranty anywhere near that. Most of the long life (meaning 2+ years) is subjective and marketing as all Ceramic coatings are a fade away product and start to degrade from day one. Soaps, carwashes, how you wash (brushes washing will scratchh through the coatings. Climate, rain exposure and a dozon other factors determine longevity. PPF (paint protection films) only has a 7-10 year life and is far more robust than any coating.

Exterior protection
So guys if you’re ordering a new Legacy would you order the $10K full body paint or just go with the out the door usual paint with decals? What would you use to protect the full body paint? What would you use for the paint with decals?

To the question of painting or not, we ordered the Legacy but decided on keeping the stock color. It was more of decision on value and function for all the options selected. The paint does really look great - it's whatever you want.
Btw, don't pay $10K. When we ordered ours, the paint had a $10K list price but was available for $7K. You could use the savings for the newer coatings mentioned here.
