2021 3791RD Pantry Light

I wasn't really sure where to post this so "electrical" seemed the place.

Our pantry has a motion sensor light that is an LED light strip down the left side. It is a great idea but I am trying to decide if we have a fault or a poorly executed idea. The motion sensor works great, and the light strip does come on, but it is so dim that I fail to understand why bother?

Do others that have this setup have a complaint about the light level? I am still within the timeframe that I can have the dealer repair, if it is a repair, or I can move on and put a brighter light strip in.

What do you all think? Thanks!

Take a multimeter and verify it is getting 12vdc.
If good verify the -ve to ground (chassis/battery) is good.
If all good replace the light strip.

I agree with Daryles. We have a 2019 3791RD and the pantry light with motion sensor as you described. It is plenty bright enough to light up the entire pantry. Even way in the back. It sounds like you are not getting enough power to the led strip or maybe there are some led's burned out?

Sounds like a plan, once the rain let's up enough for me to dig the meter out I will check it out.

Good to know that the lights really should be bright. None of them appear to be burned out, just dim.

Well, I finally got a break in the weather and got my meter out and the light was getting just 7.4 volts. Replaced the motion sensor switch and the light is now working as it is supposed to.
