Furnace won't start

After replacing 2-way valve for tanks and the high pressure red regulator the furnace still will not run. Turned the lever to drivers side tank and shows green. Stove will work. As soon as I turn on the thermostat and try to start furnace the indicator turns red. It lights and runs for about 1 1/2 seconds and burner shuts off. Goes about 15 seconds lights and then turns off. It was working about a week ago. Why is the indicator on the valve going from green to red as soon as I turn the furnace thermostat on? The new red regulator is identical to the old one and I put it on properly.
