Great Investment Discovery
Yesterday, I filled my truck with about 27 gal. of diesel fuel and it cost me $107.73 Today on the way to Home Depot, I passed the same station. Today that fuel would have cost me $113.13 Following this irrefutable logic, my investment in diesel fuel made me 5% on my money in just one day. Now just think, if you had a aux tank, you'd make the same 5%, but just more of it. So since I'm soon to be rich with my new found scheme, I'm off to buy some 55 Gal. drums. Why a person could make hundreds a day. Now I wonder how many drums I'll need to finance my summer trip. Let's see 55 gal. at $4.19 and given the 5% I'll make..................

Careful Dave, oil is finally dropping. Of course it will take the fuel all summer to actually reflect the downward drop as it translates to their "at the pump price"!!

Very funny Dave. It's like eating an elephant, one bite at a time, which is why I'm only purchasing $25 at a time.

Reminds me of the story of the guy that went out and bought a whole armful of fuel saving devices and installed them on his truck ... problem then was that he had to stop every 100 miles and take fuel out of his truck!

I get so aggravated when filling up and it limits me to $75.00 that when it hits that mark I often quit. I figure they got enough of my money at that point.

Bill that is a pet peace of mine also. If I put my CC in the pump why will it cut off at 75.00 they already know the card is good they ck it before you can pump. I get mad and leave at the 75.00 like you. the problem
is with my truck when you are on the road and it cuts off I restart it and it will take another 25$to30$ to finish filling it up so you need to top it off before you get back on the road. Hey life is good and the good Lord let me get up this morning anything after that is a plus!!!

I like to send the DW into the store & have her stand there while I pump so it will not turn off. I will put in 50 gal most of the time. I too hate to keep putting in the CC. Try using the pay inside option then having DW go inside to wait till you finish. It works for me (when the DW will).

The lowest price I found near Orange,Ct, was $4.14 and the highest was $4.40. That was yesterdays price. I can hardly wait to see todays prices.

I also send DW in while I fill up and I have had some places still not want to let you fill up. Most want to hold your CC while you fill and I don't do that so we sometimes are at a standoff!! But they sell it somewhere so it ain't that big of a problem.
