Giving up waterfront....
Well, after a 1 1/2 years of fun, and a ton of rust, we're giving up our waterfront lot. Moving over to Rockport Wednesday. We got a lot in a small RV park that we were on the waiting list for. Only 2 miles from DW's work, so the oil barons are gonna suffer. We're still looking at the 3750FL; waiting to see what Keystone says about graphics. Don't want to expose a new RV to the elements we have here.
I might put a plug in for The Last Resort RV Park while I'm at it. They have a young new manager, and he is so nice. We were gonna move there until the lot we wanted in Rockport opened up. He was very helpful in finding us a nice shady lot. So, we put up $100 deposit and planned to move there on Sept. 1st. Then last week, the lot we wanted came open. I went by to inform the manager at Last Resort we would not be moving there. No way would I ask or expect a refund of my deposit. The guy insisted, and put the funds back in our account. So, if you're coming to Rockport, you might check them out. You don't see folks like that much.
