Snowbirds

Hey, all you Florida snowbirds, let's see some pictures of you in your shorts and flipflops. No cheating and posting photos from last year. Only recent pics will be acceptable. Come on, who is brave enough.

verrryyyy funny. Watching for Ice, sleet and maybe snow in the Orlando area by Morning. Should that happen there will be mass slaughter on the roads. We will not move. from the camper.. We have decided that next year we will go to Florida for the winter.... We must have made a wrong turn somewhere because this isn't it..

On the other hand, everyone should count their Blessings as evidenced by the following pics. Rich, if the going gets too rough, the first picture is of an alternative parking strategy (wonder if a Monty roof would hold up??):

Then if things get too rough and you don't want to venture out, a cold beverage might be in store:

Or if some warmth is needed (no fires this time), a quick dip in the hot-tub may be the recipe that is called for:

Or if gets really bad, there is always the possibility of not even being able to get out the front door:

The provided pics were e-mailed to me at work with a topic related to not complain about winter weather. The pics are from some anonymous northern neighbors (Quebec City) who seem to be able to make the best out of somewhat bad situation.

You all stay warm down there!!!!

Those pictures are making the rounds this winter. I got the same ones a couple of days ago. Thanks but no thanks.

Our forecast for tonight is 10 degrees. I don't think it will get that low (it's 33 now), but that's what they are saying. My neighbor (a retired Methodist preacher), has given me a hose with heat tape wrapped around it. I checked at a local Home Depot today and they are sold out. This will keep me from doing the interior/exterior thing everyday for awhile.

Bingo, those pics could have been of Alaska in 2004, we had a terrible time that year.......Do I miss it, You Bet, like a severe migraine!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone stays warm, especially those of you that ran to Florida to escape the snow....., Rich, Steve, et al...... LOL Phil

It is 18 degrees here along the river, DW, the girls and I are tucked away in the Living Room with the thermostat set for 76 degrees (DW's favorite temperature). We are getting ready to watch "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs". Beats snow anyway, we have enough of it and it is still falling. C'mon SPRING!!! I don't know for sure where or when the pictures were taken, but I definitely like the Snowmobile on the roof!!
Keep warm down there guys!!

Those pics could easily have been upstate NY. I had one like the front door many years ago. Don't ever, ever want to do that again.
West central AZ is chilly but no snow or freezing.
Happy trails.....................

I had snow like that on Long Island in 1977. I could see the top 3 inches of my front door. I moved to California the next summer.

We had one almost as bad as the front door picture during the last snow storm (last week). But it was just a large drift. No big deal. It was only 18" of snow.
