Ford 350 05 dieselchange fuel filter now won't run
My brother-in-law change the oil and fuel filter on his 05 Ford, diesel. It ran rough and will not run now.
suggestions or web sights I can go for answers please.

Sounds like there is air in the fuel system. You can try the Ford Truck forum, I'm sure they will have thed answer. Good Luck John. GBY...

I'm with Delaine and Lindy with the fuel in the system. There is a fuel filter on the front left (drivers side) that you can takke the top off and make sure that it is filled with fuel. That is the way that we would start the 6L when I worked at International. We also was able to put air pressure on the fuel tank like maybe 2 to 5 pounds to force the fuel up to the injecters. We also had steel fuel tanks. Jim

I agree if I change the filter on my 96 I always filled up the filter compartment and when it was all together I turned on the ignition to actavate the pump in the tank to fill it up more befor I started it, it worked for me.
